Pi = 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716 – and it keeps going (if you really want to see, check this out!)
Lots of people do different things to honour yesterday/America’s Pi Day. Let us take for instance, my friends’ maths teachers. Mr S, well to put it nicely, is highly enamoured with Pi. As in, yesterday, he spent the entire period showing his class (and this is the smartest class in the school mind you) ‘Pi’ music videos and mercilessly singing along. *shudder* – but also kinda funny ;)
Being a food obsessed, maths hater that I am, it was only natural for me to think of pie. The real type of pie. Not some imaginary number that really does not make any sense :P
Anyway, I was totally going to celebrate with an uber delicious, super gorgeous, terrific pie. And I would have if I could have. But a little thing in my life, called Yr 11, of course stopped me from sharing an aromatic homemade pie with the world/my area. So I had to make do with what little I could do. Me :)… I mean :(… ;)
Hello and so nice to be back on again, though admittedly I have only not posted for 3 days – seems like an eternity for me :P
Well I come back with very good news for you from all around + a very easy, quick and ultimately delicious recipe which you will wonder why you never tried before – trust me ;)
1. I am loving school – senior years = doing the subjects you want and although the workload is already quite intense, I am enjoying my histories very much thank you :D
And it was absolutely awesome to see my friends again after the summer, all ready and excited and a little hyper!
Well, here we are at the end of 2011. What has happened for me?
- I started this blog (YAY)’
- I had my year 10 formal (woohoo!)
- I turned 16 (the age of party, driving etc.)
- I explored and became part of my baking – it is no longer a hobby, it is in my blood :)
Sounds like a pretty satisfying year to me? But what about you my dear readers – this year came and went so quickly – what happened for all of you? A marriage, a family addition? A celebration of some sort?
I am sure that whatever happened, 2011 was a year of goodwill, cheer and fabulous times for all of you – how else could it possibly have gone so fast?
Now, I do believe the Aztecs have predicted that the end of world is upon us in 2012. Specifically, “The Mayan calendar comes to an end on Sunday, December 23, 2012” – http://www.greatdreams.com/end-world.htm
How creepy that that is exactly 1 year and 1 day away!!! *Shudders*
