Marathoning

Don’t Forget to enter my giveaway!

(Australians only sorriiiiie!)

Ok… now I can continue my post 🙂

I just coined the word.

Jokes, everyone uses it, in fact there is no red squiggly line under it, but I’d like to believe I was one of the first. Because I use it so much now you know? imagination truly is a gift.

Anyways, so you all should be proud of me, because your small not-so-little baker girl is marathoning. That’s right, I have signed up for… one, two, three…. 5 different marathons! I know right??? I can’t even believe myself!

Guest Post: Mademoiselle Mange A Sydney

Bonjour tout le monde! Haha, back in a little bit of a french mode there because today’s guest poster we have an awesome-sauce (wow that is SO not french) Mademoiselle!  😀

I met Mademoiselle at a few events and we super hit it off, so I was so glad that one of Sydney’s top reviewers would be guest posting with her own French delicacy of a recipe today! It will be one spicy post, if you know what I mean!

Jokes, how could you, you don’t even know what the recipe is yet! Alright, I will stop speaking rubbish as I do, go enjoy this post and I look forward to writing again for you beautiful people soon! 🙂

Guest Post: Baking Perfection

I’m sorry I have been so off the radar with commenting lately (it is usually my procrastination) but this exam period, I have dedicated myself to cramming for two tests in the next two days, and a giant bowl of popcorn with ‘Under the Dome’ 😛

So close to freedom yet so far…

But instead of lamenting over my upcoming demise, I would like to share with you guys an amazing as blogger who has the baking skills of a king. Ok, maybe not a king because kings usually didn’t cook but um… how about the baking skills of the Muffin Man who lives on Drury Lane?

Cos if this guy made gingerbread men, they would definitely come to life with all that flavour! Anyways, enjoy his fabulous (as you have already seen) macarons! I am salivating sitting here!

CCU Undercover: Trip To Bowral

Just a reminder before beginning this post to go and enter my international giveaway in my last post 😀

*****************************************************************************

CCU yawned, all relaxed and invigorated after her much-too-long…. I suppose you could call it a holiday…. slightly 😉
Her stomach rumbled and she thought to herself, ‘how long had it been since she had visited a decent place?’

She swung out of bed, and just while brushing her teeth, she decided that, being sick of the whole city scene she was so used to and to appease her growling stomach, she would take a visit to the countryside… Little did she know she would be visiting more than one decent trip…

Happy 1st Birthday Go Bake Yourself + International Giveaway (Giveaway Ended)

Wow, ok, so as cliche as it may sound, it does only feel like a short while back that I started up this blog. Who knew a year would in fact, pass so quickly?

Looking back upon the whole blogging experience, there has been so much that I have learnt, so many people I have met and so much IT appreciation you wouldn’t believe it! It is almost a little overwhelming at times 😉

As it says in my ‘Where Did I Come From’ page, this blog started because I needed an outlet for my cooking, which was fast becoming an obsession. It was mum’s idea and I remember how apprehensive I was. Ma, can you remember how I worried I was?

A Mad Weekend

This weekend was mad in the kitchen. This weekend I baked two dishes and neither. one. had. chocolate.

It is not even a case of rustling up a one person dish for myself like my last post which was exploding chocolate-y goodness. I just did not bake with chocolate, my melts resting comfortably away in their pantry instead of screaming and running amuck like usual. Not that I would know of course 😉

mini cakes 7

And what is even more astounding that the cookie batch and the mini cakes batch would be perfect for a tea party. You know what else goes well with tea/hot chocolate, oh whoops there I go again, chocolate!

I feel my temperature running high, my head starting to spin – I simply must have been quite delusional as to do this to myself and to my family (who actually sacrilegiously prefer it this way!)
