Teacher: If you could go anywhere in the universe, where would you go? What would you do?
Student #1: I would strap myself to a comet, so when I raced through the sky like a shooting star, I could grant everyone’s wishes. I would wear a pink and white jumpsuit, with stars on the sides, and goggles with my hair flying behind me.
Ok, so you remember how, to celebrate with my family, I made an apple strudel which kicked butt (G rated blog ;)) because it had added caramel? Well, one of the reasons for this choice was actually because my family is not particularly fond of chocolate. Like I am 😉
So while we had fun, consumed vanilla ice cream at an alarming rate and enjoyed life to commemorate my 17th birthday, I also celebrated with my gorgeous, chocolate loving, chocolate obsessing, chocolate all buddies at school 😀

The world is constantly changing, we are constantly aging and of course, ever since Einstein invented time, nothing will ever be able to stop, stay at a standstill, or at the very least, go slow motion style like in Matrix 😉
Anyhow, before I go ranting (again) and get off topic as I have a tendency to, there have been some major changes around. And I think almost 99% of you all are aware of it. Foodbuzz, the biggest and most awesomest food blogger sharing community is switching to DailyBuzz. Say what?
Ok, yes it will be fine but how can we see all the bloggers in the world now? It is such a wonderful feeling when waking up to go check Foodbuzz and see all these different and delicious posts. Makes me breakfast hungry 😉
A big and fat welcome to all of you to my first ever Nutella Baking Week!!! *Applause Machine*
This week, it is obviously all about Nutella. Nutella in all different forms, different dishes and always the star ingredient of whatever dish I make. This is a week to commemorate this great gift Italians have so kindly given to the world.
I don’t actually have any sponsors or anyone but I would like to say a few words before this week begins to commemorate a few people and their sites that deserve mention due to their wonderful Nutella obsession.
I got the idea from here – those are some talented and creative cooks at Two Peas & Their Pod! But that is where the similarities end between my milkshake creation and theirs… and that is a good thing for me 😛
Let me put one thing straight – I cannot consider this a milkshake. This is a THICKSHAKE. My straw was having trouble slurping this up so I basically ended up scooping it out and eating it with a spoon – and it was so worth it! Vying for the ‘Most Creative Chocolate Chip Dough/Cookie’ section winner, I can’t say this beats that double chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (perhaps since I am a little partial to ice cream…) but it came very close.
See, I was a little apprehensive about this shake. Ever tried Max Brenner’s Cookie Shake? It tastes like Oreo cookies crumbled and drowned in a porridge consisting of rolled oats, weetbix and that gross Up ‘n’ Go! *Shudders*
These gorgeous babies were included in this baking week as vying for a part in the ‘Most Creative Use Of Chocolate Chip Cookie/Dough’. No, they did not win at all, beating the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes was a hard call but I do believe next time I make them, things might get a little heated between the two – and I assure you there will be a next time 🙂
The only real contribution made concerning chocolate chip cookies or their dough when I made this was really only crushing up the Mrs Field’s version of my first chocolate chip cookie tried (the last remaining after my brother and his mates happily polished off the rest :P) in the crust and adding chocolate chips into the batter, as the name suggests.
Wow. This is just wow. I can’t even begin to explain it. These have come the closest so far to kicking my original favourite off its high horse.
