Trying To Be Healthy & Massive Giveaway! (Closed)

Stevia. Stevia powder. I think a lot of us have heard about this product, but as far as artificial sugars I have never used it.Never even thought of using it, just because I enjoy me my caster sugar so much.Buuuut… let’s be realistic. In today’s world, majority of our diseases are lifestyle related.

As much as I say I want to eat a full pan of brownies, topped off with milkshake and fries, I doubt I would ever actually do that. Because I know of the sugary heartache to follow. Quite literally.

Doing it for a special occasion, go ahead, but I do kind of want to enjoy brownies everyday. Maybe not to that extent, but to some!

So artificial sugars are starting to become more popular. When I say artificial sugars, of course I do not mean disgusting, manufactured clumps of ‘cardboard sugar’ as I call it. I mean a natural substitute which is just… not sugar. Here is where NuNaturals come in.

CCU Undercover: Heston For Coles Launch

CCU was just feeling… dandy… honestly she didn’t know any other way of saying ‘utterly excited beyond actual words’ in a single word! After all, dandy should not even be considered a word, it is just that… jolly.

Making it perfectly natural for her to use it. But… anyways (gosh, CCU has an awful habit of going off on tangents), she had recently been invited to the launch for an incredible, incredible chef’s new range of take-home meals.

Thus said feeling of dandy. She didn’t even bother grabbing her trench for this event, it would just slow her down…

If you are my Facebook friend, or follow my Facebook page, then you probably saw a photo come up – that is from the launch for Heston Blumenthal, one of the most creative and successful chefs in the existence of all chefs!!! 😀

I love you guys, you know I do, but I am not going to lie. if you have not heard of Heston, I believe you may be living under a rock.

A rather large rock at that. But I suppose you could always toss it aside and go stalk his career on the internet 😛

Why is such a success? Heston Blumenthal (I’m sorry, it’s just… his name is so cool!) has a mind that works with food like no other. He has studied molecular gastronomy, has worked with Oxford psychologists to understand the psychological aspect of eating, and, is a self-taught chef yet, who has interned at some stage with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Guest Post: The Dough Collective

This week has been super hectic, and writing for me has been intense, so, instead of hearing the drab, tired voice of yours truly, I want to give you an incredible guest post and recipe courtesy of a delicious new bakery opened in Sydney, called The Dough Collective!

This bakery is fast rising to be one of the most popular in Sydney, and considering its delicious range of freshly baked goods, there is no way I am surprised! I hope you enjoy this mes cheris! Now excuse me as I go enjoy all of Mothers Day with my ma!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Mothers Day too! I promise a proper post to come soon 🙂

The chefs at The Dough Collective on Sydney’s George Street have perfected a unique yeasting process which allows the sweetness of the bread to occur naturally meaning sugar content is low.

Making It Easier With ZipList!

Good afternoon, morning and evening my darlings! I am just lounging around, pretending to be a fish while my criminology essay sits untouched.

We have all been there, how sad does that empty word document look right?

But then I decided to stop being so unproductive (I can suck in my cheeks that much non?) and kick-ass myself into action… right into my blog 😀
Because as always my priorities are 100% on line!

In today’s post, I want to introduce you to new partnership I am in which is saving your lives. Yes. YOUR lives. And mine I suppose as well 😀

For ages now, you guys have been asking me to do some sort of printing mechanism for my recipes (love you!) and I used to put up a word document which you could just print – but it was hard, I often forgot and had to update my posts, and overall, just NOT ideal!
