Hi lovelies! Guess what? I just finished my first exam! And I am not going to think about it and cry/hysterically laugh! Instead, I am going to put all my energy into trying to mentally take this amazing recipe out of my computer screen for a late night of eating and movies 😛

Who do I have on Go Bake Yourself today? You may not really be wondering considering the title, but still, dramatic effect has to count for something no?
So you may all remember that I posted up a lovely little salad recipe a little while back and introduced you all to the very essence of what it is to be a uni student. In terms, of course, of the fact that we are perpetually starving 24 hours a day (or however long we actually are at uni :P)

OY OY OY!
… Kind of been ingrained into us Aussies since before we started kindergarten, so please forgive the outburst.
Though honestly, there is nothing to forgive, because, well, it is Australia Day, and I am pretty damn proud to be able to show my patriotic nature 😀
Whenever I think of Australia, I feel so so sooooo lucky, because there are a lot of things to love about it!
Well. Here we are. Two days after Valentines Day. The day filled with romance, roses and red stuff. Because you know. Valentines Day.
The day one gets so mushy and gushy (rhyme that with mushy for my sake :P), seeing couples (old, young, in that ‘middle zone’ where they can’t decide) holding hands and walking in rhythm… sigh… what a romantic day.

The day that TV shows nothing but cartoons glowing red and giving their other half a kiss on the cheek with their hearts literally beating out of their chest, as if it would rip it apart.
Yeah, Jerry, you can’t hide that luuuurve on Valentines Day 😉
So my friends, once more my exams have come but at least instead of lasting 3 weeks, they are only lasting a week 😀

Hi…. You may be wondering about the title. Well really quite self-explanatory if I do say so myself. After this little postscript you will not be hearing from me today, though I had such a fun post planned! You see, I have spent my entire weekend trying to write up an essay which is doing a good job of kicking my butt. Big time.
That is way too many hours spent frantically trying to piece together non-existent analyses of texts and failing at it. Still. But because of that I just want to forget all words and simply show you lots of visuals 🙂
Bonjour mes amis, I have a question to ask you all… don’t you absolutely love baking at night? In my case I love it especially when everyone is out but even when everyone is asleep, you can still just wiggle down in your jammies and no one will look at you with raised eyebrows when you eat the batter 😉 (more than one spoon… shhhh no one is looking)
So that was the kind of evening I envisioned for myself yesterday night when my family was out, my brother was asleep and it was just me, my impulse and a huge bag of chocolate chips, blocks and ingredients begging to be used 😀
Hi everyone, I am hitting the books and trying to pass the last exams of year 11. Can you believe there will only be one more year of school left then? I am SO stoked 😀 😀

You know what? I like picnics. The more the I think about it, the more I enjoy its memories, present and past. Daydream about future picnic adventures too I suppose.
I love the idea that you have so much in one. There are so many fun elements to enjoy as part of the one. I love that you can never have too many, that it brings friends and family alike closer together. That it just brings a huge grin to your face in anticipation (at least, it does mine!)
The season is finally upon my household! And the Christmas baking has begun! 🙂

Well, silly question – everyone does. Let us move on.
I am not a traditional dessert maker. Just because it is Christmas doesn’t mean I make red, green and white cakes only or bake gingerbread houses. I bake what I feel like and incorporate my own Christmas spirit into it – a.k.a Love and utter enjoyment.
Now see, this coconut chocolate slice seemed to embody exactly what message I was trying to convey – and it was totally in theme with my coconut cravings this week as well 🙂
