The Procrasti-Baker

Guys, it is a bittersweet time! After sharing with you wonderful salad recipes and no-bake lemon bars, the #undergradstudentbloggers link up party initiated by Ala @Wallflour Girl is finally coming to a close!

You have read about how we never have enough to eat, how we never have time to do… well.. anything… and now? How we waste all the time that we do have.

Going out with a bang mes cheris, welcome to the final segment magnifying in on the lives of undergrad/grad university students all over the world! Remember to check out all the links after reading for the ultimate student blogger series experience 🙂

CCU Undercover: Sofitel, Brisbane

CCU would like to believe that she was more than justified in splurging her savings on having a very pampered and luxurious stay at this hotel while up in Brisbane for the Australian Eat Drink Blog Conference. Of course, that is when she actually had the time to enjoy, as there was so much going on!

She could still remember the plush bathrobe, the silken sheets…

And here she was, back at home, typing away with an old ratty jumper and some tatty slippers on her feet..Why must the luxury life end????

A Cross Country Culinary Tour

Ladies and gentlemen, we ask that you fasten your safety belts and upright your seat-backs, as we are about to embark upon a small journey across the world.

The safety video will be shown shortly, and if you require any assistance throughout the flight, feel free to press the button located on the left of your armrest to call for an attendant.

Once again, we thank you for flying via Air Guru and hope you have an entertaining flight.

Hehehe… HI GUYS! 😀

Today I have a special treat for you! I am going to give you a look into the lives of a couple of bloggers, one in my hometown and one far far faaaar away! Both equally talented and wonderful, this idea is part of the ‘Cross Country Culinary Tour.’

CCU Undercover: Wild Pear Cafe

CCU sometimes overlooks the fact that in her sleepy, beautiful suburb, there is actually a lot of awesome cafes. She dreams of living in the big city, but just 10 minutes away, she didn’t realise there was a gem. God, she could be so blind sometimes!

That’s how she found herself on yet another sleepy, rainy morning, her whole family going to this cafe for Fathers Day! She was studying for exams, so unfortunately, she still owed her daddy baked goods, but until then, forcing her family to try this cafe wasn’t the worst way to go at all 🙂

Tell Me About JAG Australia?

Well, since you have asked, how could I possibly refuse right? Thanks to Garlos JAG , I was asked to try out their new service. JAG is one of the newest, most innovative ways of earning a few extra treats on the side for doing not very much.

The basic gist is: Earn points by watching advertisements. Keep earning those points till you have enough. And then BAM! Don’t get hit by a bus (Phoebe from Friends reference there if you got it!), but convert those points into gift cards!

‘Catch Me If You Can!’

So you may all remember that I posted up a lovely little salad recipe a little while back and introduced you all to the very essence of what it is to be a uni student. In terms, of course, of the fact that we are perpetually starving 24 hours a day (or however long we actually are at uni :P)

Well, since this is part of Ala @Wallflour Girl‘s fantastic link up part for all #undergradstudentbloggers and #gradstudentbloggers, we also have a new theme for each time we post up!

I am guessing the title is giveaway enough so let’s see if you can indeed keep up with this part of the student blogger series 😀

She knows I very much have a sweet tooth, she knows you, my wonderful readers have a sweet tooth, so with an Italian twist she decided to satisfy all of us with one slammin’ post!

Please give her a warm welcome mes cheris! And I promise to be back soon 😀

Brasserie Bread Extravaganza Part II

CCU was still eating bread from Brasserie Bread , despite this being almost a week and a half after she had received it. Her mother’s tip about aluminium foil wrapping, plus the cold, rainy weather, kept it so moist.

But you must be asking, CCU giggled, why she was eating bread after so long still? Well… perhaps you may remember, but in the last post, she showed you a quick shot of how many breads she had taken home to try. Did she have regrets?

Nope.

Even after finishing a gluten free baking class full of bread, she just could not get enough.

Perhaps, she thought, her readers would understand why after seeing her photos?
